This academy is named after a man who lived with heart and purpose, Brigadier Ran Singh Ahlawat.
He wasn’t just an army man. He was someone who truly cared for his people, his roots, and the land he came from. After serving the Indian Army with honour and retiring in 1984, most would’ve chosen a quiet life. But not him. He stepped into public life, entered politics, and once again, earned the love of people, not with promises, but with action. He won his very first election with over 27,000 votes. Later, he served as a Minister in Haryana and even became the Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha.
But what stayed the same was his love for his village. Even when he had the chance to settle in Delhi, he chose to stay back. Not for comfort but because he believed real change starts from your own doorstep.
This academy is more than a training ground for Kabaddi. It carries forward the values he lived by like hard work, honesty, and a deep respect for every individual, no matter where they come from.
He didn’t do all this for power or praise. He did it because he believed rural India deserved better and he chose to be part of the solution.
